Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 21, 2026
This policy explains what WebsiteGPT collects, how it is used, and what controls customers have over support conversations, leads, and account data.
Information we collect
We collect account and organization details needed to operate the service, including name, email address, authentication identifiers, subscription records, and workspace settings.
We also process chatbot content, uploaded files, website pages, conversation messages, lead submissions, and feedback events so the product can answer questions, measure quality, and route follow-up actions.
How we use information
We use customer data to authenticate users, deliver chatbot responses, maintain tenant isolation, enforce plans, detect abuse, and improve system reliability.
We do not use customer content to train third-party foundation models unless that processing is explicitly part of the runtime request needed to answer an end-user question.
Sharing and subprocessors
We share data only with infrastructure and payment providers needed to run the product, such as authentication, hosting, database, and billing vendors.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service from fraud or abuse, or as part of a business transfer.
Retention and deletion
Account, billing, and security records are retained for operational, legal, and fraud-prevention purposes. Chat content, leads, and indexed source data are retained according to workspace settings and internal retention policies.
Customers can request deletion of their workspace data by contacting the support address listed in their service agreement or dashboard communications.
Your choices
Organization administrators control who can access a workspace, what content is indexed, and whether support workflows capture leads or feedback.
If you access WebsiteGPT through an organization account, that organization may control your access and manage your data in accordance with its own policies.
